The Safety Girls Entertain at CA WizKids North Campus Opening
The Safety Girls sang at the official opening of the CA Wiz Kids North Campus on Saturday, November 8th in Santa Monica. There was a crowd of kids and parents alike that were indulging in fun things like face painting, water color tattooing, baked goodies, popped corn and, of course, the Safety Girls. The Safety Girls provided the entertainment for the day by performing a few songs from their new CD Stand Up for Safety! which is full of safety tips for young children. The CWK Dancers did a dance they have been practicing to one of their songs entitled “If I Could Paint Your World”. They looked so cute. The Safety Girls had a guest speaker, Lillie Bayless from the Pasadena Kids Safety Academy, who did some teaching about stranger awareness. She brought a new dimension to the songs by making kids aware of the real meaning. They are fun, upbeat and entertaining but they really do teach about safety. Overall, it was really a fun event.
